In 2020 Delvinia acquired CRIS (Conversational Research Insight System). Due to the complementary nature of their products they already share several customers, and are working together to continue the expansion of the capabilities of CRIS.

CRIS uses AI and machine learning to conduct one-to-one chat based interviews at scale, collecting both qualitative and quantitative data on a secure web-based messaging platform. CRIS was integrated into Delvinia’s automated market research platform, Methodify, in 2018.  

Participants chat with CRIS at a time and place that is convenient for them and enjoy a research experience that is more interesting and engaging than traditional static open-ends, and unmoderated bulletin boards

CRIS replicates a moderated discussion by:

  • Giving follow-ups to keep participants on task
  • Asking relevant probing questions in the moment
  • Encouraging participants along the way
