Global digital expert and ex-Coca Cola insights manager the latest talent additions to expanding sales team

TORONTO, April 16, 2019 – The automated research technology platform Methodify is counting on AI-powered chatbots to help understand customer opinions and motivations “beyond the numbers.”

Methodify is partnering with Elsient and Massively-backed Conversational Research Insight System (CRIS), which uses AI and machine learning to quickly conduct one-to-one text based interviews at scale and report results.

As Laura Craig, the co-founder of CRIS explained, “The dream of accessing high-value qualitative insights faster and with less expense is now a reality. Which means that brands now have the power to understand the ‘why’ behind the numbers more often, and can respond in real-time too.”

As Methodify announces this partnership, the market for automated research solutions continues to explode in the U.S.

“Companies are no longer planning for automation five years down the road, they’re staking their success on it now,” said Methodify President Raj Manocha. “We’re seeing it every day, they’re completely stepping up their game by using a test-and-learn approach that allows them to bring the customer into the conversation more often during the marketing process.”

Nearly 200 per cent revenue growth in the past year spurs new partnerships and new hires.

Manocha points to his company’s pipeline of talent as the key to what is fueling their growth, particularly in the U.S. “We’re fortunate to have incredible talent join us over the past month that span a variety of industries. These are the people—with their distinctive perspectives—helping us uncover new opportunities to fulfill the vision of Methodify.”

Joining the client success team are digital technology expert Jonathan Hyde-Barnes and ex-Coca Cola Shopper Insights lead, Melissa Hugh.

Hyde-Barnes takes on the role of Vice President, Client Development, using his innovation and entrepreneurship skills honed in England and Australia to help grow the platform to do even more complex things for its customers. He has worked with some of the most notable global brands helping transform their digital experiences, including Nike, Movember, Lexus and World Vision.

Hugh joins in the role of Vice President, Client Success with plans to put her experience in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies into practice, evolving Methodify to more effectively address the need for insight throughout the planning, innovation and customer experience processes across a variety of industry verticals. Most recently she was with Coca-Cola Canada as the company’s Shopper Insights Manager and prior to that spent more than six years at Ipsos Reid.
