The Best in Class Award is the highest honour bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. And, according to the organization, it represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. This is Delvinia’s sixth award win from the IMA.
The decision to create an interactive timeline to commemorate Delvinia’s 15th anniversary was based on what we wanted to achieve with our campaign: to launch the vision for the next five years of Delvinia; to share our story and build our brand; to celebrate our successes, and to thank, our clients, employees and friends.
If you haven’t seen it yet, the timeline is a one-page site that highlights key milestones and major client projects that have shaped what Delvinia is today. To add an interactive element to the site, we interviewed more than a dozen clients and friends of Delvinia, each of whom shared their perspective on working with our team. The resulting video clips are included throughout the timeline. (Thanks to everyone who took part!)
We divided the company’s history into three, five-year chunks and published the timeline in three segments, each with a different theme:
- Part One: Learning How to Run and Grow a Canadian Business
- Part Two: Recovery, Growth & the Evolution of a Vision
- Part Three: Realizing our Potential and Staying Focused Through a Global Economic Crisis
The timeline also includes links to a gallery of photos from our 15th anniversary event and links to our social feeds where users can share their memories of Delvinia. It is our intent that the timeline will be a living document that can be added to on an annual basis and will serve as an archive for years to come.
