The Centre for Global Enterprise at the Schulich School of Business hosts the RBC-Schulich Enterprise Forum next week and our CEO Adam Froman has been invited to deliver the keynote speech.

The Forum will focus on Connecting Opportunity to Expertise with speakers discussing the challenges and opportunities in encouraging Canadian businesses to look beyond Canada’s borders.

The Centre reports that in a 2016 survey of Canadian mid-sized companies considering engagement with markets outside of Canada, 59% responded they did not have adequate resources and support to do so.

Adam, who serves on the Board of Directors for the Council of Canadian Innovators, will share his perspectives on how to better engage Canadian businesses with international markets to promote scaling up and global competitiveness more effectively.

Additional speakers include Roshan Mohan; Director, Business Engagement, International Trade Programs Division, Ministry of International Trade; Mark Patterson, Executive Director, Magnet and Executive Director, Hire Immigrants; Dana Fox, Evangelist, Waterloo Institute for Smarter Government; Director Business Development, Athena Software; Founder, ClevrU; and Douglas Kennedy, RBC Managing Director, Centre for Global Enterprise.

The event takes place from 5 – 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20th at the Miles Nadal Management Centre, Ernst & Young Tower, Toronto Dominion Centre, 222 Bay Street.
