The Delvinia Report on Internet Voting in the 2006 Town of Markham Municipal Election

Of those who voted online in the 2006 Markham election, a total of 4,633 responded to a survey about their experience. Delvinia partnered with Research Strategy Group to analyze the 2006 survey results and compare these with the results of the 2003 survey.

The resulting report entitled "Understanding the Digital Voter Experience" provides evidence that Internet voting contributed to an increase in overall voter turnout. Meanwhile, the increase in online voters validated the significance of Internet voting as part of the total voter experience.
