I have finally arrived at Delvinia. I’m Charles Sue-Wah-Sing, the new Director of Strategy and User Experience Design. Some would say it has been a work in progress that started nearly seven years ago when I first met Steve Mast, Adam Froman and Randy Matheson as a user experience consultant for RBC and later Porter Airlines.
I’ve been in the digital realm for more than 15 years as a graphic designer and information architect. I think this is the most exciting time to be in digital since the mid-‘90s. Online commerce has been greatly influenced by the wide adoption of social media and the growth of mobile technology and applications.
The opportunities to innovate and evolve your story, coupled with new design techniques are outstanding. I’m really excited to get to work here and look forward to taking our approach to design to new levels.
Delvinia and AskingCanadians™ today announced the addition of two new team members. Charles Sue-Wah-Sing joins Delvinia as Director of Strategy and Experience Design and Roy Gonsalves joins AskingCanadians™ as Director of Sales.
Sue-Wah-Sing brings 15 years of experience in digital media and Internet technology to Delvinia, where he will utilize his skills in information architecture, interaction design and usability to create enduring, strategic programs and platforms that engage consumers and get results.
“Our digital strategy and customer experience design team translates customer insight, digital trends and the competitive landscape into meaningful plans for our clients,” says Delvinia President Steve Mast. “Charles will play a key role in leading that effort.”
Sue-Wah-Sing, a founding partner of NexKlix—a user experience consulting and design company serving a variety of clients in the financial, publishing, small business and non-profit sectors—has also worked with MacLaren McCann, Flextronics and Corus Entertainment.
Gonsalves Joins AskingCanadians™
Gonsalves brings 15 years of market research experience to his new role at AskingCanadians™. Throughout his career, Gonsalves has worked with some of the largest global data collection companies in the industry, including Ipsos ASI and Research Now.
“Roy’s extensive market research experience and his track record in the industry will serve our team well as we focus on expanding the AskingCanadians™ brand while continuing to develop strong relationships with current and new clients,” says Delvinia CEO Adam Froman.
Gonsalves will support clients through existing AskingCanadians™ products and will be tasked with the development of new tools to expand upon the unique data services and products the firm has developed over the years.
Hi, I’m Rachel Rattray the newest Information Architect to join the team at Delvinia.
When I’m not working, you are sure to see me with a backpack in hand seeking new adventures. I caught the travel bug at the age of 11 when I was selected to go to Iceland and take part in a Children’s International Summer Villages program and I’ve never looked back. After graduating, I spent a year in South Africa volunteering as a network administrator in remote townships.
Upon my return, I moved to Toronto and worked as an Information Architect Consultant, Online Production Manager at Canada Life, and a User Experience Designer at henderson bas.
I’m looking forward to the upcoming projects that await me here at Delvinia.

Reading books, online articles, blogs, RSS feeds, Twitter are all great ways to stay informed but sometimes nothing beats a good discussion with your peers as a learning tool. On Wednesday [...]
