The Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) is headed to Newfoundland for this year’s annual conference and Delvinia CEO Adam Froman is among the speakers.

The 2012 MRIA National Conference takes place in St. John’s from May 30 to June 1. This year’s theme: Sample the Edge.

Adam will be taking part in a plenary panel titled, Improving the Respondent Relationship, which will focus on the need to foster relationships with respondents to keep engagement high, and boost the industry’s reputation. The panel, moderated by Brian Singh, will also include Margot Acton of TNS and Lindsey Veling of Cint.

True to Delvinia’s customer-centric approach, Adam worked with Dr. Mary Foster, Professor of Marketing at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, to look at why people participate in market research from the participant’s perspective.

In this session, Adam will share the findings of this groundbreaking research and some examples of how Delvinia is applying this knowledge to increase participation rates within its AskingCanadians™ community.
