Delvinia’s work, innovation and our CEO, have been recognized as winners in the 2016 International Business Awards competition, with one Gold and three Bronze Stevie Awards.

Delvinia’s winning entries include a Gold Stevie Award in the Insurance category for the SureHealth platform, a direct-to-consumer platform created for Green Shield Canada using our innovation framework.

In addition, Delvinia won three Bronze Stevie Awards. Manulife Financial’s Retirement Redefined platform was recognized in the Financial Services Category; Methodify, Delvinia’s new research automation platform, was recognized in the Startup of the Year / Business Services category; and Delvinia CEO Adam Froman was recognized as a Bronze award winner in the Innovator of the Year category.

The 13th annual International Business Awards, known as the Stevies, are open to all organizations worldwide: large and small, public and private, for-profit and non-profit. This year’s competition received a record total of more than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry around the globe. Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August and the awards will be presented at a gala in Rome on October 21.

“This year’s IBA judges were treated to many remarkable and inspiring stories of achievement around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.  “We look forward to sharing many of these stories with people around the world over the coming months, through the Stevie Awards blog and social media channels, with the hope that they will inspire and instruct the next generation of business achievers.”

Here’s a closer look at each of our winning entries:

SureHealth – Gold Stevie Award – Insurance

Delvinia recently designed and built a direct-to-consumer platform for Green Shield Canada using our innovation framework. The SureHealth platform, which launched earlier this year, is a prime example of an innovative fintech project. For more on this initiative, please see Steve Mast’s recent article in Marketing Magazine.

Retirement Redefined – Bronze Stevie Award – Financial Services

Using our innovation framework, Delvinia worked with Manulife Financial to build a minimal viable platform for a digital retirement centre in which Manulife customers can access relevant content pertaining to their specific retirement needs.

In both cases, Delvinia took a collaborative, customer-centric approach towards these projects and we would like to congratulate our clients on this achievement and recognition for their work.

Methodify – Bronze Stevie Award – Startup of the Year

Born out of Delvinia’s innovation framework, Methodify is a new research automation platform, which provides marketers with the ability to gain customer insights in as little as 48 hours. Launched in October 2015, Methodify is an example of Delvinia’s investment in R&D and its expertise in commercializing innovation. Through our innovation framework, Delvinia identified a gap in the marketplace between custom and DIY research and created a tool to meet this growing demand.

Adam Froman – Bronze Stevie Award – Innovator of the Year

2015 was a transformational year for Delvinia and its CEO Adam Froman, who founded the firm as a digital services consultancy in 1998. Since then, he has grown Delvinia into a globally competitive company that offers strategic consulting, invests in identifying ways to commercialize the application of digital technologies, and runs a portfolio of successful digital businesses.

Once again, we would like to congratulate our clients and the teams involved in each of these projects. For more information about the International Business Awards and a full list of the 2016 Stevie Award winners, please visit the IBA website.
