Foundation aims to improve the quality of life of kids in hospitals and seniors in long-term care facilities through visits with therapeutic clowns.

On Thursday May 2nd, Delvinia President and Chief Innovation Officer, Steve Mast, and Director of Client Development, Ryan Crawford, attended the annual Dr. Clown Foundation Le Bal Imaginaire. It was a fun-filled evening of ‘clowning around’ to help raise funds for the organization’s programs aimed at bringing joy to hospitalized children and seniors in long-term care facilities.

Delvinia’s Steve Mast and Ryan Crawford clown around in support of the Dr. Clown Foundation.

As one of the event sponsors, we had the opportunity to meet and hear from the foundation’s leaders and creative thinkers. This is a team of individuals who believe in the power of programs like patient visits with relational clowns that combine personal contact, games and imagination. The event alone raised $451 thousand, amassing a total of $717 thousand for the 2018-2019 campaign. Proceeds will be distributed across its different programs. Here’s to bringing more fun into hospitals and patient experiences!
