Earlier this year, the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) launched a new Chartered Marketer accreditation program designed to recognize the top marketing talent in Canada.

And, we’re pleased to announce Delvinia is a Founding Sponsor of the program and our President and Chief Innovation Officer Steve Mast is among the first group of 20 individuals to be awarded the CM designation.

The Chartered Marketer designation emphasizes quality assurance, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and an overall commitment to holding marketing professionals in Canada to the highest standard.

The CMA notes that marketing has become a strategic and data-driven profession and reports the designation is a response to this professional shift and an opportunity to assert marketing’s contribution to the c-suite.

Similar to chartered marketing accreditations in the United Kingdom – and those in other industries (such as chartered account or chartered human resources professional) – the title will be a controlled term given only to those who meet certain requirements managed by the CMA.

Steve, who is currently serving as Vice Chair of the CMA Board of Directors, has been a member of the Board since 2013 and active with the association for over a decade, chairing a variety of conferences and events including the CMAfuture Conference, the CMA/MRIA Customer Experience Conference.
