Delvinia partners with Munk School on Creating Digital Opportunity project

CDO-e1409151125353We’re proud to be among the industry partners involved with a new research project designed to strengthen the international competitiveness of Canada’s digital industry.

Delvinia is among a group of 13 partner organizations and 16 universities taking part in the Creating Digital Opportunity partnership, led by David Wolfe, Co-Director of the Innovation Policy Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.

The academic research partnership, which recently received a $2.9-million grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), proposes to answer the question: how can Canada best respond to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing digital landscape, while benefiting from emerging opportunities to promote our economic prosperity?

As a Canadian-owned, digital firm that works with organizations to create digital customer experiences, Delvinia is committed to creating jobs in Canada and investing in developing and commercializing our own R&D. Our CEO Adam Froman is also a long-time advocate on behalf of the digital industry.

Through our role, Adam will bring his knowledge and industry perspective to bear on the implementation of the research agenda. Our AskingCanadians online research community will also assist in gaining insight into, and dialogue with, key stakeholders to facilitate the research being conducted.

For more on this initiative, please see the CDO project description on the Munk School’s website.
