CMA_MRIA

Next month, the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) and the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) are partnering on their first joint initiative: the 2013 CMA/MRIA Customer Experience Conference.

The event, which takes place at the Arcadian Court on April 11, brings together marketers and researchers for a series of sessions about how customer experience is integral to keeping the promises that brands make.

The idea for the conference was conceived by Steve Mast and Adam Froman who wanted to bring leading organizations and experts together to share their perspectives on the topic and to demonstrate how to take a customer-centric approach to creating better customer experiences.

Given Steve’s involvement in the CMA and Adam’s involvement in the MRIA, bringing the two organizations together to partner on this conference seemed a logical fit; especially in the age of customer experience, Big Data, and insight.

Steve is co-chairing the event along with Alan Depencier, Vice President, Marketing Services & Transformation, RBC Royal Bank, and Adam will share highlights from a series of one-on-one interviews in a session entitled, Customer Experience in Canada: First Person Perspectives.

By sharing these video clips, Amy will invite the customer directly into the conference. Her session will enable attendees to hear straight from Canadian consumers, in their own words, about the trials, tribulations, and triumphs they experience each day as they interact with brands in the pursuit of a variety of products and services. Additional context will be provided by drawing on surveys conducted with Delvinia’s own AskingCanadians panel.
