Job Description
You must have experience working with data and be very comfortable working in MSExcel.
As Sample Specialist for Delvinia Data Collection, you will be the “go to” person for meeting sample requirements and data validation using our Asking Canadians panel. You will work closely with the Data Specialist and the Data Collection Field Managers and Project Managers on all projects requiring sample.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in the efficient selection of sample, based on sample requirements as outlined by the Data Specialist and Field Manager
- Develop expertise in the use of AskingCanadians’ Panel Management processes including sample and data queries, extraction; sample loading; and launch procedures
- Develop a thorough understanding of the AskingCanadians data structure and variables
- Creation of survey data templates
- Validation of survey data
- Provide ad-hoc data selection and update requests
- Uphold the highest standards of the AskingCanadians Panelist Experience as outlined by the Panel Manager
- Co-ordinate and execute all aspects of sample selection during the online data collection phase
- Understand sampling in the context of the entire Data Collection project lifecycle
- Work with team personnel to ensure your part in the efficient and timely execution of project launches
- Manage and maintain quotas
- Monitor sample while in field and update the Project Manager accordingly
- Take corrective action as appropriate to ensure successful filling of AskingCanadians sample against agreed upon timelines
- Report on data with Delvinia Data Collection’s survey platform
- Knowledge of survey launch practices and capabilities
- Knowledge of field reporting capabilities
- An in-depth knowledge of our sample only capabilities
- Develop and recommend procedural and process improvements designed to increase the consistency/quality or increase the efficiency of Delvinia Data Collection’s field processes.

- Bi-lingual communication skills, both verbal and written in both English and French an asset.

- Excellent problem solving ability
- Enjoy working with new software programs
- Degree in Technology Field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of how components of an application connect to create a comprehensive solution
- Must be proficient using standard office application software (Word and Excel)
