Job Description

As Business Development Manger for Delvinia Data Collection, you will provide a strategic insight to our clients in the delivery of research services. Your past experience includes managing key market research projects. You are conversant in quantitative research design, interpretation and analysis of results building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • New business development including finding/chasing/pitching to companies, primarily in the Canadian marketplace
  • Complete understanding of our business model and the need to target most profitable clients / projects
  • Preparation of Proposals and Quotes
  • Assisting with negotiation, and product pricing and overall P & L responsibilities for client projects
  • Booking and performing web demos and sales pitches
  • Soliciting feedback from clients to help refine sales direction and product offering.
  • Being fully knowledgeable of Delvinia’s range of services and pricing strategies
  • Delivering research design and methodological advice to our clients
  • Keeping abreast of and participation in networking and industry events
  • Being knowledgeable of the market research industry in general, and online marketing in particular
  • Understanding the importance of upholding the optimum panellist experience
  • Understanding the impact of survey development & execution processes and DC operational processes (such as QA) on the panellist experience

Qualifications/Attributes

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be motivated to be the best. In addition, they must have:

  • 3-5 years work experience and a university degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional negotiation, client service skills and team skills
  • Experience with P&L management
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills and well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strategic insight in the delivery of research services
  • Self-motivated and thrive in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Quick learner and ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Excel, Word, email, internet skills

Salary

Base Salary + bonus program based upon experience
