Today is the first day of school for the majority of students across Canada. For most families that means its back to the routine of the early morning scramble to get everyone fed, dressed and out the door, hopefully in that order. With that in mind, we polled 1000 parents of school age children across Canada through our AskingCanadians™ research panel.

What is the most stressful part of your kids going back to school?

35 per cent of parents think that getting their kids back into the habit of doing homework and studying is the most stressful part of going back to school. The challenge of getting their kids up early, dressed, fed and out the door was chosen as the biggest challenge by 23 per cent of parents. Almost 14 per cent of parents were worried about their children’s safety a school. 11.7 per cent of parents felt that could finally relax and take a breath now that their kids were back in class.

As a parent, what is the most stressful part of your kids going back to school?
